Disney Cruise 2009

I had such a good time on the cruise. It was really warm, sunny most days. Jen and I had a veranda which was totally the only way to go. Jen unfortunately go hurt the second day we were there. We thought she sprained her ankle but actually broke it in two places. So Katie and I ran around the ship like two crazy people. We had our pictures taken with lots and lots of characters. We had a blast snorkeling in St. Thomas, even though Katie got a little sea sick from drinking too much sea water. We saw Sea Turtle and tons and tons of fish. Every morning when I would wake up I ran to the veranda to watch the sun rise. Yes for some reason I was up with the sun. Jen, Katie and I got spa passes to the Rain Forest Room. They had heated stone beds and steam saunas that was amazing. We went with Katie and Jen's mom Shauna and her sister Charlot and her husband John. We played crazy rummy almost everyday in one of the bars. The shows, entertainment and food were out of this world. I'm still having with drawls from not having a three course dinner every night. I miss my bed begging turned down every night and those amazing towel animals. The Disney Island was AMAZING I got to see the actually Flying Dutchman From the Pirate's Movies. It was way cool. Katie and I played in the water and saw a Sting Ray, Huge Star Fish and two Sand Dollars that had bitten me. We also made sand castles and ate lots and lots of good food. When we were flying home I told Jen that I wanted to stay and be an Islander. I could trade the white snow for those sandy white beaches any day. When we landed In Salt Lake reality hit in, along with the freezing weather. I'm glad to back and school, but can't wait for my next Disney Cruise.

New Moon

I know I haven't posted in a really, really, long time. So I'll try to catch you up on whats been going on in my world. Halloween was a blast, I dressed as a purple witch (I'll post picture later) Katie was a banana, and Jen was a zombie. We headed to Payson and had a bon fire, chili, hot cider and lots of candy to give out to all the great costumes. We set everything up in Jen's and Katie's moms front yard. We had so much fun we are thinking of making a tradition out of it.

I'm headed for a Disney Cruise on December 4th - 12th I really can't wait. We are headed to the Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas and Tortula). You might be thinking who are we, well let me tell ya. Jen, Katie, Shawna (Jen and Katie Mom) Charlet and John (Jen and Katie aunt and uncle.) I will definitely post picture when I return.

If you haven't seen New Moon you are missing out. I've seen it three times and it has been out for only three days. We went to the midnight movie on Thursday, we also went to a New Moon Expo at the South Towne Expo Center. We had a blast, I got a tattoo that says Twilight it's black and very sparkly. Before you start to fr eek out if you really know me, you already know I terrified of needles and would never get a tattoo. I got an air brush tattoo it will come off in a couple days. Last night we went to the District with a bunch of friends to watch it for the second time. Then Jen and I headed back to the District this morning to watch it again. I'm sure Jen and I will go see it tomorrow, yes I know I'm a dork but why not it's fun.

I Didn't Break It!!

A couple week's ago, my cousin and I took a ride in the mountain. At the most dangerous part of the canyon my 1975 jeep quit. I had all my passenger get so if I rolled off the mountain I only had to worry about me. Thanks heaven I got it started and made it to level ground. We let sit of about 5 minutes and then it started up and was fine after that. When I told my Dad he said, "Well what did you do. Maybe you shouldn't take the jeep up the mountain anymore." So I thought I done something wrong. Well yesterday my parents I started out for a jeep ride. We were planning on going up Ephraim Canyon, down Orangeville road to Joe's Valley. Then up to Potter's Pond where my dad's uncle Allen was camping. We go about 2 miles from Ephraim and the jeep quit. My dad said, "Well that sounds like the fuel pump." I said," Yeah I didn't break the jeep." So we head back to Spring City. My dad and I jumped on our 4-wheelers and headed up the canyon. Now if you have been up the canyon in the past 10 years you know that the road is really rocky. We finally made it to the top of the mountain and headed across the Skyline to Bacon Rine road. Bacon Rine is just as bumpy as Spring City Canyon. We finally made it to Potter's Pond and started looking for Allen camp. It took us about half hour to find them, but we did. When we decided to head home my Dad asked if I wanted to go up Reeder Cayon 4-wheeler road. It sounded fun to me so we headed up the canyon. Again we found another bumpy road. About an hour later we finally pulled up on the Skyline and headed to Spring City Canyon. When we reached the head to our Canyon. I looked and my dad and said, "You go first if you make it down all the bump call me and I follow." My arms and shoulder were very tired. When we reached the well we saw that the forest service had tempted to grade the road. The road was better but there were still a lot of rocks. We were almost home and my 4-wheeler quit. It was out of gas, so I put it on reserve to make it the last mile home. We went over 70 miles and 60 of them were on really rocky, bumpy, miserable roads. I had tons of fun for my last summer ride. I have alway said when you go in the mountains it's always an adventure.

Fish Lake 4-wheeling

Thursday August 6th a bunch of people from Spring City headed to Fish Lake Mountain. We took a 50 mile ride taking most of our day. Starting our trip to Salina we got rained on, so that kinda made us wonder what kind of weather we were getting into. fortunately we only had cloudy skies, and lot and lots of wind. I was amazed on how many Basalt rocks we saw , from an ancient volcano. Some of the rocks were the size of my car. My favorite mountain was Mount Hilgard it stood 11533 feet above sea level. We saw some deer and three coytoes. The country was beautiful, and lush with large green meadows.

Summer Adventures

Well where did my summer go? I've had a busy summer working on the farm, hanging out with family and friends. I've had a lot of fun playing with my parents new puppy. We named her Zoey, and is very spoiled by all of us. I've gone on a couple four-wheeler rides, and have only been on the horse once. I've also been working on my scrapbook. I'm trying to get my 2007 Disney Cruise pictures done before I go again in December. My cousin Becky has spent about a month in Spring City this summer. We have gone walking almost every night. We have seen a lot of cool sunsets. When I return to Orem I'll have to find a nice walking tail. (any suggestions) Well I hope everyone is having a great summer.

More Adventures

On Saturday Jen and I went to the Hill Air Force Base Air Show (Thunderbirds). It was so much fun, I had chills the entire time. It was so loud and the planes looked like they were going to hit each other. It was awesome. If you haven't seen the show you should it's fun. My parents also got a new puppy. Our black poodle Teesha past away about 2 1/2 months ago. I've been working on my mom to get a new puppy. Well Saturday my parents went and got a brown and black miniature poodle. We are still working on a name any suggestions?
We have thought of Izzy, Zoey, Maddy.
Katie and I also hiked to the Grotto in Payson Canyon. I should say walked it's not much of a hike. When I get around the water I have to get in. I tried to stand under the waterfall but it was just too cold. On the hike we found this really cool spider web, I didn't get close but Katie tried to get a good picture. We also found a little stream that ran across the trail. Katie decided that the stream needed a dam, so she started moving rocks around to create a little pool and change the stream flow.

What Adventures

Well as many of you know if you really want to know what I'm up to check our my roommates blog. So here is a run down of what I've been up too. Katie and I went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point ( I will post pictures later) I love the spring and all the wonderful flowers. We also went to the zoo. I haven't been to the zoo for 15 years at least. I really liked the Elephants, and the Monkeys. If your going anytime soon stay away from the reptile house it stinks. I had a great year in school, but I'm sure glad it's summer. Last Friday Jen, Katie, Chase and Ali went to the X96 Big Ass Show, there were tons of bands. Some of the bands were Airborne Toxic, Alkaline Trio, Red jump suit, Unwritten Law and the last band was Offspring. I have to say I didn't know any of the bands except for Offspring. It was a lot of fun, and very entertaining. On Saturday Jen got free tickets to styx concert. I hate to say I didn't know any songs but, I sure got a kick out of all the 40 year olds dancing and singing at the top of their lungs. Now I'm planning out my summer, including horse riding, 4-wheeer rides, gardening, going to movies and just hanging out. The one thing I'm looking forward to the most is laying in my Hammock and reading a good book. I'll try to be better at posting so Becky doesn't have to check Jen's blog to see what I'm up too.

Finally when sun decided to show, Dad and I planned a 4-wheeler ride to the east desert ,Eagle Canyon, Cole Wash area. We had 22 people and 17 4-wheelers. We had a lot of fun, it was cloudy and kinda cold, but we had a ball. I've posted some pictures of our ride.

He left us!

If you have not seen Jurassic Park then this adventure will not make sense. Katie and I went to Best Buy to purchase a GPS for my parents. The GPS I was interested in was not available at this store, so the salesman that was helping us said he would go find the salesman in charge of this area. We waited, waited and waited, in the mean time Katie had the time to change all the languages on all the GPS displays. About 15 minutes later another salesman came along to see if we needed help, so we told him they were sending someone but it's been awhile. He said he would find out what was going on, he turned around and started to walk away. Katie grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me, yelling (in a loud voice) HE LEFT US, HE LEFT US can you name that movie? I turned around and the sales man is standing there looking at us, and said I'll be right back. I was so embarrassed I turned bright red, then started turning purple. Well he never came back, so someone from the Geek squade came by and asked if we needed help, we told him 0ur story and he went to call American fork Best Buy. He said they had 3 or 4 GPS's that we were interested in. So we left to America Fork. Well to make a long story shot they did not have the GPS I wanted so I bought another one.

March Adventures

Our Adventures for March. We went to a Twilight DVD release party at midnight at Hottopic. (Even though we got an imported Blue-ray copy the day before and watch it.) We got really bored so we took some random picture that you might enjoy. (Katie is like Chandler Bing on friends, so it's impossible for her to take a normal picture.) Also Katie and I were driving down University Ave. Katie spotted something and made me stop abruptly. Quickly we found a parking spot, and jumped out to see what she was hollering about. As we walked down the sidewalk we saw plastic wrap art. So we took some pictures. It was one of the craziest thing ever. I drug Katie to the Scrapbook expo, made her walk around for hours, she only complained a little. Then we ate at the Myan which is always an adventure when you are eating in a jungle with cliff divers. Also Jen bought a new car so we were at the dealership for HOURS. Katie and I got in every car on the floor. All the salesmen were watching us and laughing at times. (I think we embarrassed Jen at time also) Katie was telling me all the pro's and con's of each car, and telling her opinions on the ugliness of the car and likes. Jen got a Toyota Camery it's a really nice car. A really fun place Katie and I ate at was Tuscan's. If you haven't ever been you should go. They serve you meat off of a sword. mmmm...goooood. So far this has been my adventures for March.

January Adventure

This year is going to be our year of adventures. Our first adventure started when we went to Park City for the Sundance film festival to see some stars. Well we didn't see many stars but we had fun.
Our next adventure started this past weekend when Jen, Kaite and I stayed at a condo above Powder Mountain Ski Resort.

On Saturday Katie and I decided to go sledding. We found a huge snow pile that we called Mt. Everest, we tried climbing to the top and sled down but never made it to the top. Making a sledding trail is a lot of hard work.

New Years

As most of know I'm crazy about Disneyland.
Jen and I went to Disneyland for New Years this year.
The people were crazy and the lines were unbelievable.
The castle was so beautiful, and they made it snow on the streets,
but it wasn't Utah snow it was bubbles.
Disney opened up Sleeping Beauty Castle for the first time in 8 years.
It was a lot of fun to be able to walk through it.
Here are some pictures of our trip.
